Porpla is a first-generation American architectural designer and researcher from Thailand, currently designing a new public library for Shutesbury, Massachusetts at Oudens Ello Architecture.
Outside of her professional work, Porpla is independently learning computational design and synthetic biology to develop tangible interaction designs that reveal the intangible aspects of living experiences. She is particularly interested in material inteligence, seeking to combine architecture, computation, and biology to influence human behavior, emotions, and well-being .
